Hook Framework
Leverages consensus and popularity signals to show the reader that others have already validated your idea or offer.
Why it works
Social proof hooks tap into one of the most powerful psychological drivers: consensus bias. When we see that others have already taken an action, our brain interprets that action as safe and desirable. These hooks use numbers ('10,000+ creators'), logos ('Used by teams at Google'), or social signals ('Join the community') to reduce the reader's hesitation and make the desired action feel like the obvious choice.
When to use
Social proof hooks are most effective for conversion-focused content — landing pages, product launches, email sequences, and community-building posts. They work best when you have real numbers or recognizable endorsements to cite.
