Hook Framework
Narrative-driven hooks that transport the reader into a scene, making them feel the story before they learn the lesson.
Why it works
Storytelling hooks work by dropping the reader into the middle of a narrative. Instead of stating a fact or asking a question, you start with a moment — 'The day I almost quit...' or 'I was sitting in a coffee shop when...'. This triggers narrative transportation, where the reader's brain stops analyzing and starts experiencing. Once they're inside the story, they're far more receptive to your message.
When to use
Use storytelling hooks when you need to build deep emotional connection, explain complex ideas through analogy, or make abstract concepts feel concrete and memorable. They work especially well for personal brand content, keynote-style posts, and long-form video intros.
